Boldly Adding Value for Customers – Ossi Isotalo Boosts FB Ketju’s Export Sales
Ossi Isotalo, who recently joined FB Ketju’s export sales team, brings a wealth of experience in international trade and a deep understanding of how Nordic know-how can evolve into lasting global success stories.

FB Ketju strengthened its sales organization this September as Ossi Isotalo took on the role of developing new export customer relationships. He quickly immersed himself in the company’s business and has already joined domestic sales visits to meet customers on-site.
“It’s been fascinating to see how our chains are used in different environments and how industrial clusters operate in synergy, making use of each other’s side streams. One company’s waste can become another’s raw material in unique ways,” Isotalo says.
A graduate in International Business, Isotalo has complemented his education with master’s studies in Futures Research. His strong practical background includes over ten years in export sales for the engineering industry, as well as experience in selling mining and environmental solutions.
“In today’s global marketplace, anyone can buy anything from anywhere. Modern sales rely on the right tools, storytelling, operating models, and attitude. We must have the courage to create genuine value for their customers — wholeheartedly,” he emphasizes.
Expanding Horizons – Focus on Europe and the Americas
At FB Ketju, Isotalo is responsible for developing new export customer relationships worldwide, with a particular focus on the American markets. At the same time, he is exploring opportunities in European heavy industry, especially in regions where FB Group is not actively represented.
“In my previous roles, I’ve opened customer relationships and distribution channels in the Americas, and I see great potential there for a company like ours with a strong foundation. There’s already a solid base to build on — after all, FB Ketju has delivered chains to countries such as Uruguay and Ecuador,” Isotalo notes.
He works as part of an experienced and collaborative sales team, which includes Timo Järvinen overseeing domestic clients and Ida Vehanen managing FB Group’s international sales.
