Responsibility is at the heart of FB Ketju's operations. We develop leading technical solutions that promote a sustainable and bright future. Our goal is to actively reduce the environmental footprint of our customers and ourselves.
In practice, this means, for example, optimizing production and continuously improving product design. We only select high-quality materials that can also be recycled.
In 2002, FB Chain was awarded the ISO14001 certificate.

EcoSaving – Environmental and economic savings
The ECOSAVING concept developed by FB Kedjor responds to environmental challenges. The solution focuses on concrete calculations and savings, such as reducing carbon dioxide emissions, water, and energy consumption. By using higher-quality steel, we reduce the need for raw materials and at the same time give our products a longer service life.
When you choose FB Ketju conveyor chains, you can reduce your carbon footprint compared to the global average. This is achieved by using high-quality European iron ore and renewable electricity, as well as by optimizing logistics and product design.
Clear and open communication
All our communication and reporting is clear, transparent, and unambiguous. We consider open and close interaction with our stakeholders to be very important.
Addtech's Code of Conduct is our ethical guideline. It obliges all our employees to act consistently in accordance with high ethical principles.
We train our staff regularly to ensure that responsibility remains part of our daily work.
What does responsibility mean to Addtech?
Addtech supports the ten basic principles of the UN Global Compact initiative. Our internal code of conduct and that for our suppliers are based on international agreements. We use the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a starting point for dialogue with stakeholders and materiality analysis, as well as for identifying risks and opportunities related to sustainable development as part of our overall risk analysis process.
To ensure that we develop our operations in line with long-term sustainable development goals, sustainable development work is fully integrated into our business operations and also into FB Ketju's strategic planning.
There is close and constructive dialogue between the Group and its companies. The Group supports the companies in the areas of acquisitions, business development, accounting, IT and information security, and especially sustainable development.
In our annual strategy process, we draw up development plans that define the measures to be taken to advance our position in key areas such as growth, profitability, digitalization, and sustainable development. In this way, we experience both responsibility and freedom and implement our own clear actions and goals that promote our common goals for 2030.
