The success story of FB Ketju began 80 years ago with war reparations production, when Oy Ammus manufactured railway wagons and conveyor chains. Today, our business continues to focus on conveyor systems—and continues to thrive. Decades of accumulated know-how and experience form a solid foundation for everything we do.

When I started in a sales role at FB Ketju in 2017, the company already had a strong brand and was heavily production-oriented. We decided to invest more in sales and strengthen our customer base. This shift in mindset laid a new foundation for our current operations.

We are a proactive chain expert within our customers’ organizations. We listen closely because we want to understand their real needs and find tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

A quality chain reduces the total lifecycle cost. A better, longer-lasting chain pays for itself. Quality clearly generates savings by minimizing unexpected process interruptions.

At the heart of quality are our employees, investments, and continuous development. Our factory in Lappi, Rauma is equipped with modern machinery and spans approximately 6,000 square meters. We invest in our personnel’s well-being and job satisfaction by genuinely listening to them. This allows our greatest asset to influence both personal and collective success.

Now 80 years old, FB Ketju is ready for its next rise in the market. We design and manufacture products where quality is never compromised—whether it’s raw materials, production methods, or skilled professionals.

This anniversary year inspires us to reflect on the company’s early days. That legacy encourages us to actively seek new opportunities while staying firmly committed to and continuously developing our core business. We keep moving forward—and now, it’s time to celebrate!
