New technical salesperson for the sales team

The FB Ketju sales team has been strengthened with the addition of Timo Järvinen, who has a long track record in B2B sales. Timo will be responsible for domestic customers and especially for new customer acquisition. You will see less of him in the office in Lappi, as he is, in his own words, proactive in the field.

FB Ketju’s career is just beginning, but the working community and the work itself have proved to be a pleasant experience. For Järvinen, who has worked for a long time as a salesman in the service and maintenance sector and trained salesmen, transport chains are a new departure.

– Although simple in appearance, the conveyor chain has many different variations and material choices. The learning process is ongoing and it is in the field with customers that I find myself learning more and more about our products in practice. I am motivated to learn new things and FB Ketju is a nice and positive place to work.

Working days consist of self-arranged customer visits, where Timo presents both FB Ketju and the products manufactured by the company.

– I try to make as many contacts as possible during the working day, as the number of contacts is directly proportional to the number of orders. I have good support from my employer and the freedom to do my job. I have also received a lot of help and support from my colleagues at different levels. Markus Lahtinen has been a good mentor,” Järvinen says.

Järvinen is originally from Rauma but lives in Tampere, where it is easy to go to visit customers. He spends his free time walking with his dog and doing sports. In between, he can hold his wife’s hand ;).
