Our new Managing Director, Mika Suomi, began his role on October 10, 2021. Previously, Suomi worked at FB Ketju as a sales manager, and describes the company’s situation as steadily improving.
As managing director, Suomi says that FB Ketjutekniikka Oy is ready to take its next big step. In practice, this means that the firm will continue to develop its operations according to its strategy: ONE Ketju – ONE Site – ONE Strategy.
“Now is the time to focus on building a sense of community and team spirit within the company. This has been made easier by the fact that we centralized all of our business operations in Lappi, near Rauma, last spring,” states Suomi.
“The changes made over the last year have pushed FB Ketju forward in accordance with its new strategy, and this is the next step in FB Ketju’s development,” says Mikael Keränen, Chairman of the Board.
In line with its ONE Ketju strategy, FB Ketju has made key investments to enhance efficiency. Recently, the company has purchased more land from the City of Rauma and invested in a new CNC lathe – and more investments are on the way.
- The new business plot will improve storage capabilities and enable expansion in Lappi.
- The new CNC lathe will make production more efficient, allowing us to diversify production and increase the share of work completed in-house.
The aim is not to move faster for its own sake, but to serve our customers as intelligently and efficiently as possible.
