FB Ketju’s sales team was reinforced with a new colleague – Markus Lahtinen started as a Technical Salesperson. Lahtinen will be responsible for designated customers, and his work will initially center around domestic sales.
Lahtinen has had a long career as a salesman and started in the field immediately after graduating high school. In his previous job at NMC Cellfoam Oy, Lahtinen worked for 13 years as a regional sales manager. His educational background is in transport and sea freight. Most recently, he studied technical sales at the Marketing Institute – now the Rastor Institute.
Lahtinen enjoys bowling in his free time, which he’s been doing for 35 years. According to Lahtinen, bowling is a great hobby for a travelling salesman. There’s a bowling alley almost everywhere, so you can easily head over at the end of the workday.
Lahtinen has started his new job in a confident frame of mind.
“The job seems very good and interesting to me so far, and it’s easy to enjoy your time at FB Ketju.”
He’s already found a few new leads from his network.
“Working as a salesperson can be done well remotely, but there’s no substitute for meeting in person. I look forward to meeting more clients and chain colleagues, who are an extremely professional group.”
